List your property

Takes about ten minutes. You can save and come back — nothing is published until you submit it and we review it.

Have these ready

  • The exact address, and where the unit sits in the building
  • Five or more clear photos, and a floor plan if you have one
  • Your asking price, and instalment terms if any remain
  • Proof of ownership or written authorisation to act for the owner

Your details stay private

Visitors see the area, not the address. They see the property, not your name or number.

You'll be asked to sign in or create an account before step one. We save your progress as you go.

Brokerage fees

Listing is free. A brokerage fee becomes due only when a deal closes through Makanak, and it is calculated on the final agreed value — not the asking price.

Sale

Owner lists a property
EGP 0
Buyer
No fee
Seller, on a completed sale
2% of the final value

Worked example

Asking price EGP 6,000,000. The parties settle at EGP 5,750,000. The seller’s fee is 2% of EGP 5,750,000 — EGP 115,000.

Rent

Owner lists a property
EGP 0
Owner, on a signed lease
One month's rent
Renter, on a signed lease
One month's rent

Worked example

Agreed rent EGP 24,000 a month. The owner owes EGP 24,000 and the renter owes EGP 24,000, tracked as two separate obligations.

When it is due

On completion of the deal. Marking a property unavailable does not create a fee, and neither does a sale you close elsewhere.

How it is paid

By InstaPay or bank transfer, outside the website. Transfer limits mean larger fees may be split across several transfers. Makanak never collects rent, deposits or the sale price.

What governs it

The written brokerage agreement between you and Makanak. Where it differs from this page, the agreement applies.
