About Makanak

Makanak is a broker-operated property service. It is not a classifieds board: one broker sits between the two sides of every transaction, and the software exists to make that relationship trackable.

What we do

Owners submit a property at no cost. Makanak reviews the details before anything is published, keeps the exact address and the owner’s contact details private, and handles every question, viewing and offer that follows.

Seekers browse reviewed inventory and deal with Makanak throughout. There is no direct line to the owner, by design — that is the service, not a limitation of it.

How we are paid

Listing is free. A brokerage fee is due only when a deal closes, and it is calculated from the final agreed value rather than the asking price. The current rules are set out in full on the fees page.

Makanak does not take payment for the property itself, does not hold deposits, and does not act as an escrow.

Where we are

Makanak operates in Egypt, and every listing on it is an Egyptian property.
